ST. PETERSBURG, June 6 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will hold on Friday and on Saturday several bilateral meetings with CIS leaders, who will get together here for an informal CIS summit.
The Kremlin gets ready for the talks, noting that some of them will be quite thorny, in particular talks with the presidents of Georgia and Ukraine.
"We have a lot to discuss with (Ukrainian President) Viktor Yushchenko," Kremlin aide Sergei Prikhodko said. According to him, the presidents will have to try to remove at talks contradictions, which some forces in Ukraine use to attain their ends, which mars interstaterelations.
In particular, they will discuss the Russian Black Sea Fleet, NATO, an inter-church dialogue, as well as Kiev's review of historical realias.
"The conversation will be hard, but we are not drawing the line, we are ready to move forward," Prikhodko stressed. "We shall maintain the dialogue persistently and in a confident manner. We shall considerrelations with Ukraine as a complex," he noted.
Too many things unite Russia and Ukraine to make some politicallyshort-sighted politicians destroy that, he stressed.
The Kremlin is also getting ready for a difficult conversation with Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili. Prikhodko declined to give a detailed forecast as concerns the upcoming talks.
However, the Kremlin press service reported that in a telephone conversation on June 3, the two leaders agreed to continue discussing Russian assistance in the restoration of railways in Abkhazia. Regional peace and stability as well as concrete issues of Russian-Georgian cooperation are also on the agenda.
Medvedev plans no separate meetings only with Kazakh President Nursulatan Nazarbayev, with whom he held talks in Astana not long ago,Prikhodko said on Tuesday.
Apart from talks with the Georgian leader, he will meet with theleaders of two other Transcaucasian republics - Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Cooperation on the Caspian Sea is also a potential topic for talks with Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev.
The Dniester Region settlement will be in the focus of attention at talks of the Russian leader with his Moldovan counterpart. "We welcome the dialogue which Moldova conducts with the leadership of the Dniester Region," Prikhodko said. Besides, the sides will discuss economic cooperation.
