Azeri OMBUDSWOMAN ATTENDS CHINDREN'S RIGHTS FORUM IN HIROSHIMA

Baku, 06 June, (AzerTAj) - Azerbaijani Commissioner for Human Rights Elmira Suleymanova attended the 3rd international forum of the Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC) in Hiroshima, Japan. The event brought together 300 representatives from 30 countries, including religious leaders, international experts, as well as UN officials to discuss how various countries are fulfilling their obligations of the United Nations concerning the protection of the children`s rights. Suleymanova spoke to the event, covering the Azeri government`s work to ensure the protection of human and children`s rights in the country. The forum ended with the adoption of a Hiroshima Declaration.
