FM WIRAJUDA TO VISIT MOROCCO, TUNISIA

Jakarta, June 6 (ANTARA) - Indonesian Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda will pay working visits to Morocco and Tunisia on June 7-9 to hold bilateral talks with his counterparts, a spokesman said. "The foreign minister will pay a working visit to Morocco on June 7-8 to hold talks with his Moroccan counterpart (Mohammed Bennaisa)," spokesman for the Indonesian Foreign Ministry Teuku Faizasyah said on Friday. While in Morocco, Wirajuda would sign five agreements covering economic cooperation, scientific and technical cooperation, cancellation of double taxation and prevention of financial evasion for income tax, informal cooperation, formation of a joint commission for bilateral cooperation and bilateral consultation, he said. On June 9, Wirajuda would proceed his journey to Tunisia to meet with his counterpart, Abdelwaheb Abdallah, the spokesman said.During his stay in Tunisia, he would sign a number of agreements with his Tunisian counterpart, including executive program for Adama cooperation for the 2008-2010 period, and youth and sports cooperation and technical cooperation in the transportation sector.
