HANOI, December 14 (Itar-Tass) - Hanoi and Moscow share a common view
of many issues of international and regional policy, Vietnamese Prime
Minister Nguyen Tan Dung told Tass on Monday. The prime minister has
arrived in Russia for a working visit.
"Vietnam and Russia actively support and help each other within the
framework of international organizations and forums - the United Nations,
ASEAN and its Regional Forum, as well as APEC," the prime minister noted.
The sides demonstrate complete mutual understanding and similarity of
positions on all main issues of international and regional agenda.
Focusing on bilateral political relations, the Vietnamese official
stressed that over the recent years relations of strategic partnership
between Vietnam and Russia have kept expanding and developing on many
directions.
"Every day political contacts are strengthening, the level of mutual
trust increases through an often exchange of visits at the top,
ministerial and local levels," Dung said.
He said this practice "helps the leadership of the two countries be in
the know of the current bilateral agenda and timely give necessary
instructions for the development of relations".
Besides, the two countries, that will in January mark the 60th
anniversary of diplomatic relations, maintain regular consultations within
the framework of the Strategic Dialogue on Foreign Policy, Security and
Defence.
