Awarding for Independence Day
Taldykorgan, December 15, 2009 (Khabar) - In Taldykorgan the best workers were awarded with state awards at a solemn meeting for Independence Day. 47 people of Semirechye were honored with state awards on the eve of the holiday. An entrepreneur Duisen Nurlan has become a chevalier of Parasat order. In the Balkhash region, he develops a few clusters - rice growing, meat, fish and tourism, he created hundreds of jobs and thereby contributed greatly to the economic development of native district. Currently the businessman with the help of the state constructs a fattening complex for five thousand pieces of cattle. The entrepreneur says the medal for him is a great honor and an incentive.
Duisen Nurlan, chevalier of the Parasat order:
- I am grateful to everybody and the President of our country. The fact that our work turns out well, it's because of our independence, the independence of our Kazakhstan
And architect Kazbek Zharylgapov made twenty-five monumental works: monuments to three biys and Zhambyl in Astana, Kurmangazy in Russia's city of Astrakhan, Independence Monument and the Central Mosque in Almaty. All these works were created in the years of independence.

- Now 18-th anniversary. All of our works are connected with the program of the President "Cultural Heritage", each monument is a page of history. It is common award for our team, and all the people who participated in work.
Medal “Yerligi Ushin” was presented posthumously. Olzhas Kulzhabekov at the cost of his own life saved the boy. The tragedy occurred a half year ago at Kapshagai. Father of Olzhas says that his only son was always eager to learn, he studied in America, wrote poetry and had grandiose plans for the future.
Serik Kulzhabekov, father of Olzhas:
- Many thanks to the head of state, who didn’t disregard the feat of my son. He everywhere in his speeches says the nation's future is in the hands of youth.
At the ceremonial meeting the governor of the region Serik Umbetov has noted during eighteen years of independence, Kazakhstani citizens passed the way commensurate with the whole century.
