Iranian Hercules becomes federation caretaker
TEHRAN, Dec. 20 (MNA) -- Two times Olympic gold medalist Hossein Rezazadeh has been appointed as caretaker of the Iran Weightlifting Federation on Saturday.
Rezazadeh replaced Bahram Afsharzadeh who is secretary general of Iran’s National Olympic Committee as well.
Iran Physical Education Organization President Ali Saeidlu chose Rezazadeh for the federation.
Rezazadeh nicknamed “The Iranian Hercules” won gold medals in the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic games.
