Gas pipeline accident in Ingushetia is technogenic.

NAZRAN, Ingushetia, December 20 (Itar-Tass) - A gas pipeline accident
in the outskirts of the Yuzhnyi settlement in the Malgobek district of
Ingushetia was technogenic, Ingushetia's Vice-Premier Magomed Tumogayev
told Itar-Tass.

An explosion occurred on the pipeline late on Saturday
because it was old and dilapidated. There was a fracture on it. The
vice-premier said that all gas supplies on the damaged pipeline had been
suspended and that gas was being delivered to consumers in the Malgobek
district on a reserve pipeline.
He promised that the damaged gas main would be repaired in five or six
hours.
Chief engineer Alexander Kuzoyev said that about five meters of the
gas pipe needed to be replaced.
