BUS HITS FOOD STALL, THREE KILLED IN EAST JAVA

Surabaya, East Java, June 9 (ANTARA) - A tourist bus with a number kindergarten children on board hit a food stall after suddenly moving backward, killing three persons in the Batu holiday resort area, East Java, on Monday. The bus caught fire after hitting the food stall. Two children and an adult died in the accident. Nine other children and two women accompanying their children in the bus suffered burns and were rushed to Baptis Batu Hospital.The accident occurred when the bus was stopped by a policeman for inspection but the driver did not use the handbrake so that the bus moved backward and hit the stall. - end.
