WHO STARTS SHIPMENT OF VACCINES TO MONGOLIA
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ World Health Organization (WHO) spokesperson Gregory Hartl said Tuesday that the first recipient countries of shipments of the H1N1 vaccines will be Azerbaijan and Mongolia.
Hartl added that Mongolia will receive 100,000 doses, and Azerbaijan will receive 172,000 doses, that is the initial shipment of vaccines for two percent of their respective populations.
Shipments will start between next week and into the first week of January. The third country receiving WHO donated vaccines will be Afghanistan--an initial shipment of 500,000 dozes.
