BARNAUL, December 23 (Itar-Tass) - A plane belonging to Vietnam
Airlines made an emergency landing at Barnaul airport Wednesday after the
plane crew found malfunctioning on board, the West-Siberian Transport
Prosecutor's office told Tass.

The plane performed a technical flight on air route Ulan-
Bator-Novosibirsk-Tyumen. The plane took off from Tolmachovo airport in
Novosibirsk at 6.03 am Moscow time Wednesday. The plane crew detected oil
leak from a power generating facility on board when the plane was 20
kilometers away from the airport. The crew decided to return to the
airport from where the plane took off. There were eleven crewmen on board.
None of them was hurt.
An inquest into the incident continues.
