GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE BONDS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Thursday's irregular cabinet meeting made a decision to issue bonds with an aim to more or less compensate the state budget deficit and to overcome the economic crisis, in accordance with a parliamentary resolution.
The state budget had a deficit of MNT 307.1 billion by the master budget performance of the 3rd quarter of 2009. As of the awaited budget performance, the total deficit may reach MNT 348,6 billion, and to cover it, a sum of MNT 151.3 billion will be in lack, as calculations show.
Thus the cabinet's request to issue the bonds received the State Great Khural's approval.
