OSCE CHAIRMAN IN-OFFICE, GERMANY FRGN MIN TO DISCUSS KOSOVO, SOUTH CAUCASUS

HELSINKI, June 10 (Itar-Tass) - Relations between the European Union and Russia, as well as the situation in and around Kosovo and South Caucasus will be the central issues at Tuesday's talks between Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb, who is Chairman-in-Office of the Organizations for Security and Cooperation in Europe /OSCE/, and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeyer. Sources at the Finnish Foreign Ministry told Itar-Tass Stubb will make a one-day working visit to Germany. Steinmeyer and he will also discuss some crucial issues of the EU's policies in security and foreign relations, the prospects for implementing the Lisbon Treaty, and the major challenges of the Baltic region. Stubb will also get familiarized with the operations of the Finnish embassy in Berlin where the new ambassador Harry Gustaf Helenius, who formerly spent four years in the capacity of ambassador in Moscow, has just gotten down to business.
