Ahmadinejad calls for expanding relations with Bolivia
Tehran, June 11, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Tuesday that Tehran welcomes expansion of all-out relations with Bolivia.
President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with Bolivian
special envoy to Tehran, Carlos Garcia.
According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Presidential
Office, the Iranian president appreciated the written message sent by his Bolivian counterpart and said, "We hope the two sides high ranking officials would continue efforts to further broaden ties between the two countries."
Referring to his memorable visit to Bolivia, he said the Iranian
government and nation will always back Bolivian government and nation.
At the meeting, the Bolivian envoy, submitted a written message from
Bolivian President Evo Morales and voiced satisfaction with the
expansion of ties between Iran and Bolivia.
Lauding Iran's humanitarian assistance to Bolivia, he called for
benefiting from Iran's invaluable experiences in oil, gas and
agriculture sectors. - End
