B.MONGONTUUL BECOMES CHAMPION OF RUSSIA IN BLITZ CHESS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A FIDE Grand Master (GM) B.Mongontuul who has recently become Mongolia's top sportswoman of 2009 has taken first place in the Women's Blitz Chess Championship of Russia. The competitions ran late December 2009 in Moscow.
The GM Mongontuul won the championships' Cup after grabbing nine points out of maximum 11 points of the competitions which ran in the Swiss system. She was followed by the Russians Alina Kashlinskaya and Nadejda Harmunova.
These competitions brought together 49 players.
