VP LEAVES FOR WEST NUSA TENGGARA

Jakarta, June 12 (ANTARA) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla and his entourage left Halim Perdanakusuma airport here at 7:05 on Thursday morning for a working visit to West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province.

Aboard an Indonesian Air Force Boeing 737 airplane from Jakarta, the vice president is expected to arrive at Selaparang airport in NTB provincial city of Mataram at 9:30 a.m. local time.

On the occasion the vice president is accompanied by among others his wife Mufidah Jusuf Kalla, People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) deputy chairman AM Fatwa, Parliament member Ali Mochtar Ngabalin, Agriculture Minister Anton Apriantono, Public Works Minister Joko Kirmanto, State Minister for State Enterprises Sofyan Djalil, and State Logistics Agency (Bulog) president director Mustafa Abubakar.

Kalla is scheduled to hold a meeting with the Nahdlatul Wathan executive board in East Lombok and then to hold a dialog with the local farmers and fishermen.

During the visit in NTB, the vice president will also dedicate several development projects in the province and open the 3rd National Conference of Indonesian Muslim Students (PII) Big Familly.

The vice president and his entourage will return to Jakarta at 6:15 on Thursday evening.
