Truck collides with passenger train in Komi rep, 2 injured.

MOSCOW, January 10 (Itar-Tass) - A truck collided with a passenger
train in the Komi republic, Itar-Tass was told at the Russian Railways
Company (RZD).

It said that the incident occurred at 00:45, Moscow time, Saturday at
the Inta-Sosnogorsk section of the Northern Railway. The driver of the
KamAZ truck violated the rules of railway crossing and collided with
passenger train No 311 that was following on the route
Vorkuta-Novorossiisk. "Two people were injured in the incident - the
train driver and a passenger of the first car," an RZD official said
noting that there was no derailment as a result of the collision.
In this connection railwaymen have again urged motor vehicle drivers
to observe traffic rules and first of all the rules of driving at railway
crossings.
