Kyzylorda, January 10, 2009, Khabar - Resident of the Kyzylorda region, Anna Li, who is the oldest representative of the Korean expatriate community in the region, has celebrated her 100th birthday. Anna Ivanovna has been living here since 1937, when her family was deported from the Far East. In Kazakhstan, she worked as a cook in a canteen and says that everything is possible if it is done in a good mood. She believes that her life has been full of happy moments rather than sad. According to her, in order to live a long life, people should live in accordance with their conscience and not offend others.
Anna Li has 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Her relatives presented her with the Korean national costume she has been dreaming about. Representatives of the city council presented her with a television since she likes to watch soap operas.

Olga Lee:
- Two daughters-in-law of my mother are Kazakh and two are Russian and all of them came here to congratulate her on her birthday. She always says that nobody will die of hard work. She leads a very healthy life and eats only healthy food. She never eats food which was cooked yesterday.
