Restriction of auto trafficking
Astana, January 10, 2009, Khabar - Now the trafficking is opened in 6 regions of Kazakhstan for all types of vehicles because of improved weather. The residents of Astana, Akmola, Aktobe, Karaganda and Pavlodar regions can now easily move. However, the Ministry of Emergency Situations strongly advises not to travel in Eastern Kazakhstan.
Alexander Lugovoi, the chief of information-technical crisis center of the Ministry on Emergencies of RK:
- In East Kazakhtani region roads for passenger transport on diesel fuel are closed because we expect decreasing of temperature to 40 - 42 degrees below zero. The roads will be closed from 16:00 pm until 9 am tomorrow. The same storm warning is released in West Kazakhstani region on January 10-11 and wind will increase up to 10 - 15 meters per second and a blizzard. We advise to restrict trafficking in this direction and better to wait at home.
