Asian cinema lineup for Fajr Intl. filmfest announced
TEHRAN, Jan. 10 (MNA) -- Eleven foreign movies will go on screen at the Asian Cinema Section of the 28th Fajr International Film Festival.
"Beyond the Circle" by Golam Rabbany Biplob (Bangladesh), “Brave Archer” by Chi-Yung Chang (Taiwan), “The Cherry Tree on the Hill” by Tetsuo Shinohara (Japan), Satish Manwar’s “The Damned Rain” (India) and Cao Baoping’s “The Equation of Love and Death” (China) are some of the films.
Ardak Amirkulov’s “Goodbye, Gulsary” (Kazakhstan), Ravi L. Bharwani’s “Jermal” (Indonesia), Leon Dai’s “I Can’t Live Without You” (China), “The Shaft” by Chi Jang (China), “True Noon” by Nosir Saidov (Tajikistan), “Turmoil” by Sabit Kurmanbekov and Kanymbek Kassymbekov (Kazakhstan) are others on the festival’s line-up.
The 28th edition of the festival will take place in Tehran from January 25 to February 4.
