Iran exports up 33%

TEHRAN, Jan. 11 (MNA) – Iran exported over 38.7 million tons of goods worth $18.1 billion in the past 9 months.
The amount shows a 33 percent increase in the terms of volume and a 1 percent decrease in the terms of value compared to the previous year’s figure.
Gas condensates, petrochemicals, and pistachio are the main exported items which have been delivered to the European and Asian countries.
Some 34.1 million tons of goods worth $37.35 million have also been imported to Iran in the mentioned period.
Iran’s import in the 9-month period had a 13 percent decrease in the terms of value despite a 9 percent increase in the terms of volume compared to the year before.
