Yemen, Egypt affirm support for private sector
Cairo, June 13 (Saba)- Prime Minister Ali Mujawar and his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed al-Nazif affirmed support of their governments
for private sector in the two countries, calling businessmen to set up investment projects in both countries either individually or jointly.
In a press conference held at the end of the two-day 7th round of the
Yemeni-Egyptian Joint Committee, they expressed satisfaction on the good results of
the round at the
level of developing joint work in fields of economy, administrative reforms and
administrative and tourism development.
They also affirmed the continuous follow-up
for the
level of implementation of the signed agreements.
The two premiers pointed out the importance of joint work to increase volume of
commercial exchange on the light of the great possibilities to achieve this
objective so
as to realize interest of the two peoples, making clear that increasing the volume
of commercial exchange will lead automatically to establishing navigation companies
for
sea transport and developing seaports in the two countries.
Mujawar highlighted concern of the Yemeni government to provide all facilities
required for Egyptian investments in Yemen in the industrial, commercial and
contracting fields.
He made clear that Egyptian fishing companies are welcome to establish fish
collecting factories on the Yemeni land to be exported, affirming that there is no
difference
in dealing with Egyptian fishing companies which violate regulations and contracts.
For his part, the Egyptian Primer expressed his appreciation for efforts of the
Yemeni government in organizing fishing process.
