Yemen, Egypt sign 14 bilateral cooperation agreements

Cairo, June 13 (Saba)- Yemen and Egypt signed on Wednesday, at the end of 7th round of the Yemeni-Egyptian Joint Committee,
14 bilateral cooperation agreements out of which 9 executive programs including scientific and technical cooperation in field of planning, cultural cooperation, management
and administrative reform, workforce, educational, tourism, sport and housing cooperation.

Two protocols are also included in cooperation between the two secretariats of the
two countries cabinets, mutual cooperation in the field of construction planning as
well
as in the field of extraditing criminals.

At the end of the round, Premier Ali Mujawar and his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed
al-Nazif signed the resulting minutes.

Mujawar affirmed his appreciation and pleasure for the good results of the 7th
round of the Yemeni-Egyptian Joint Committee which represents an important
destination in
the process of cooperation and joint work.

He reaffirmed the importance of following up and evaluation of what have been
agreed on between the two countries, specially in the economic and tourism fields,
expressing
thanks for efforts exerted in the preparation of this round.
For his part, al-Nazif called for intensifying efforts of continuous communication
between the two countries to reinforce the bilateral relations not only at the
level of
the committee but also at all ministerial levels and private sector.

He noted the growth of mutual investment of the Yemeni and Egyptian private
sectors, calling on Egyptian businessmen to contribute to the current economic
revival in Yemen.
