Crowd attend winter fair in Bangkok

BANGKOK, Feb 10 (TNA) - A large crowd of Thais dressed in traditional costumes on Saturday attended the winter fair, being held at Bangkok’s Dusit Palace and Sanam Suapa, surrounded by over 200,000 trees and flowers. The fair which is organised for the third day today will continue until March 11. The site is decorated similar to a British park with over 200,000 trees and colourful flowers and Thai traditional houses. More than 30 stalls are selling Thai food and sweets and handicrafts. For those attending the fair, they will have an opportunity to learn Thai history of the reigns of the late Kings Rama V and IX. (TNA)
