MCOT celebrates 66th anniversary of establishment

BANGKOK, April 9 (TNA) - MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT), a most established Thai media firm, celebrates the company's 66th anniversary of establishment on April 9 with a stance on keeping on serving the society with quality mass media work. MCOT President Kematat Paladesh announced the stance while welcoming distinguished guests and representatives from other established public and private agencies participating in an event celebrating the 66th anniversary of MCOT and extending their best wishes on the auspicious occasion at the MCOT head office in Bangkok on Monday. "MCOT always upholds a corporate policy on carrying on the company's mass media missions to benefit the society through its programs with quality and knowledge content and constant improvements to serve the public and to be in line with Thailand's steady reforms for better", Kematat said. "MCOT will continue to take care of traditional fans by providing them with useful programs, while looking for new groups of clients who will also be served with new quality programs", vowed Kematat. As MCOT is moving forward to the 67 years of its establishment, the MCOT president stressed that the company will treat the public more than its longstanding partner through quality media programs produced and presented to meet more consumer demands. Meanwhile, the distinguished guests and representatives from other established public and private agencies joining in the MCOT's official celebration, including those from TOT Public Company Limited (TOT), PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), the Ministry of Culture, the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (ART), the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), commercial banks, the Royal Thai Police, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), the Office of the Attorney General, the Democrat Party and other media firms, also financially contributed to the Utokapat Foundation Under the Royal Patronage of H.M. The King, as invited by MCOT. The foundation has been established since 2011 to support water management and development projects in the country. (TNA)
