Ratification of agreement on Kyrgyzstan’s accession to EAEU finalized - Eurasian Economic Commission

BISHKEK, August 6. /TASS/. The procedure of ratification of the agreement on Kyrgyzstan’s accession to Eurasian Economic Union /EAEU/ has been finalized, the Eurasian Economic Commission /EEC/ reported Thursday with reference to Minister on main areas of integration and macroeconomics of EEC Tatyana Valovaya. "The EEC expects to receive the latest notice from the Kazakh side. After we receive it will be lodged by the Eurasian Economic Commission, and pursuant to the contract the Republic of Kyrgyzstan will become a full-fledged member-state of the Eurasian Economic Union," the report said. On Wednesday, Kazakhstan ratified the agreement on Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a corresponding law and several protocols on introducing changes to the EAEU agreement from 29 May 2014, the presidential press service said. Kazakhstan was the last country to ratify the agreement on Kyrgyzstan’s accession to EAEU after Armenia, Belarus and Russia have already approved the deal. Read more
