Foreign ministers from the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) organisation will meet in Chisinau on Thursday, June 18, to discuss results of Moldova’s presidency of the group and possible ways to ensure its greater efficiency in the future, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday. "During the meeting, participants will discuss ways to further increase efficiency of the organisation and strengthen its role in the Black Sea region," the ministry said in a statement, adding that delegation heads would also consider "the outcome of talks between ministers of transport, economy and health, as well as meetings between BSEC industry working groups, which took place during Moldova’s presidency in the first half of this year." Starting from January, Moldova took over the rotating six-month presidency of BSEC, uniting the countries surrounding the Black Sea - Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
