Editor Lauds Iran N-deal With Western Powers

Islamabad, Feb 22, IRNA - A Pakistani editor on Saturday said that Iran has sincerely inked deal with western powers over its right to peaceful nuclear technology and West must reciprocate the positive gesture shown by the Islamic Republic in the same manner. Talking to IRNA, Saleem Bukhari, editor of daily ‘The Nation’ said that the talks between Iran and G5+1 are moving in a right direction. Representatives from Iran and Group 5+1 have recently met in Vienna, Austria to finalize the implementation of Iran’s nuclear deal. Bukhari said that Iran has given an opening to the West by starting the negotiation process over its right to peaceful nuclear technology. “Now the ball is in the court of US and EU,” he said. He reiterated that there is immense pressure on US and EU by Zionists and certain Arab states against the implementation of Iran’s nuclear deal. “I am very optimistic about Iran’s nuclear talks and I think this time US and EU are much serious in the dialogue with the Islamic Republic,” viewed the editor. Bukhari said that the dialogue between the West and Iran has helped in bringing the two sides closer. He added that dialogue is the only way to resolve the dispute. The analyst said since Iran is a peaceful country, the majority of world states are standing by Tehran, urging the West to respect Iran’s peaceful nuclear right and immediately lift unjustified sanctions against the country./end
