Iran Developing Under Dynamic Leadership: Pak Min.

Peshawar, Jan 31, IRNA – Iran is developing in all fields under the dynamic leadership of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, a Pakistani minister said. Information Minister of Western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Mian Iftikhar Hussain made the remarks at the residence of Iranian Consul General in Peshawar, Hassan Darvish. During their meeting, Hussain stressed the need to strengthen Pakistan-Iran cooperation in all sectors. Referring to the recent visit of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Hoti and his team to Iran, Hussain said that the visit helped a lot in bolstering bilateral relations. He added that Iran has progressed remarkably after the Islamic Revolution. The minister also praised the determination of the Iranian nation, epically youth in developing Iran. Iftikhar Hussain said that the Islamic Revolution had brought justice in Iran and presented the true spirit of Islam. The Pakistani official also noted the great scope to enhance Iran-Pakistan cooperation in the field of media. Hassan Darvish, for his part, called for further enhancement of Pakistan-Iran ties, especially in the media sector, adding that the West should know that Tehran and Islamabad enjoy strong ties. Darvish also said that Iran and Pakistan are very close ideologically and culturally. The Iranian government can fulfill electricity requirements of Pakistan, Darvish said, adding that Pakistan can also supply its products easily to Iran. The members of Peshawar Press Club were also present at the meeting.
