Iranian Journal Of Neonatology Indexed In IMEMR

Tehran, Sept 17, IRNA - The Iranian Journal of Neonatology (IJN) has been indexed in the Index Medicus for the Eastern Mediterranean Region (IMEMR) website. IJN is a peer-reviewed medical publication of the Iranian Association of Neonatology published quarterly by the Mashhad Medical University. This free peer-reviewed open-access journal covers all aspect of neonatal-perinatal medicine and promotes health care and management of newborn infants, pregnant women as well as the family of neonates. “The journal had also been indexed in EBSCO, DOAJ, Chemical Abstracts Service, SID, IranMedex ISC, Magiran,” Dr. Reza Saeedi, a faculty member of the university and the journal’s editor-in-chief, said. In order to give access to health literature published in or related to the Eastern Mediterranean Region, the Eastern Mediterranean Region Library Network produces an international index to Eastern Mediterranean health literature and information sources using headings, according to the Medical Subject Headings MeSH list of the US National Library of Medicine. This index is called Index Medicus for the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region./end
