Putin, Nazarbayev sign statement on 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations

CHELYABINSK, November 9. /TASS/. Russia and Kazakhstan have signed a package of documents during the Inter-Regional Cooperation Forum in the Russian city of Chelyanbinsk. Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a joint statement on the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The two leaders also signed an additional protocol to the Agreement between the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan on delimitation of seabed in the Northern Part of the Caspian Sea dated July 6, 1998. The package particularly includes the 2018-2023 Program for inter-regional and cross-border cooperation and a protocol on introducing changes into the lease agreement concerning the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
