Nasser bin Hamad congratulates Al-Ahly Club

Manama, Oct30(BNA)Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa today congratulated Al-Ahly Club on clinching the Arab Handball Championship. In a statement today, he hailed the achievement, the first of its kind for local clubs, stressing the string of landmark performances in different competitions which contributed to promoting Bahrain's standing on the sport map. He commended strong-willed Al-Ahly Club players for their strong dedication and resolve to win the pan-Arab handball trophy and honour Bahrain's sport community. "The achievement of Al-Ahly is a source of pride for Bahrain's sport community, being the first local club to clinch the pan-Arab trophy", Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa said.
