Iran Engineers Innovate Fueling Upgrade In Bushehr Power Plant

Tehran, Nov 20, IRNA -- A team of engineers from Amir Kabir Technical University of Tehran on Monday innovated fueling upgrade in Bushehr power plant. The head of the team Mahmoud Babaei said the team of researchers could improve a module using a special algorithm and mathematical mechanism to reduce the fuel consumption in the power plant. He said that Bushehr power plant reactor is the strongest reactor in Iran adding that fuel has been put in the heart of the reactor from the beginning but the new research concentrated on a new system slightly different from the previous one. "The initiative also improved the immunity of the reactor which we hope to prepare for the new fueling system next year."/end
