Turki Al Al Shikh Announces UFC FIGHT NIGHT Fight Card

Riyadh, March 29, 2024, SPA -- Advisor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Al Al Shikh has announced that champions Khamzat Chimaev and Robert Whittaker will battle it out in the main event of UFC Fight on June 22 at the Kingdom Arena as part of the activities of the Riyadh Calendar, with tickets to be available soon at webook platform.
This year’s UFC FIGHT NIGHT fights will feature several champions of various weights, including a heavyweight co-main event between Sergei Pavlovich and Alexander Volkov.
Other fights announced for the event include Kelvin Gastelum taking on Daniel Rodriguez at welterweight, Johnny Walker battling Volkan Oezdemir at light heavyweight and Sharabutdin Magomedov vs. Ihor Potieria also at 205 pounds.
UFC CEO Dana White said that the winner of the headline clash would qualify for the UFC middleweight championship, currently held by Dricus du Plessis.
