Speaker of Shura Council Meets with President of Jordanian Senate

Riyadh, April 17, 2024, SPA -- The Speaker of Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, met with the President of Jordan's Senate, Faisal Al-Fayez during an official visit to Jordan. The objective of the meeting was to enhance the strong relationship between the two nations.
Dr. Al Al-Sheikh emphasized the historical ties and close bonds between Saudi Arabia and Jordan, highlighting their ongoing cooperation in various fields. He also praised the role of parliamentary friendship committees in further developing these bilateral ties.
Dr. Al Al-Sheikh outlined Saudi Arabia's remarkable development and economic growth, which were made possible by the support of the Custodian of the two holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdualziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In response, President Al-Fayez welcomed Dr. Al Al-Sheikh and his delegation, stressing the deep historical connections between the two countries. He expressed Jordan's deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia's ongoing support.
The two sides discussed opportunities for increased cooperation between the Shura Council and the Jordanian Senate, along with other matters of mutual interest.
