A groundbreaking ceremony for the bus and truck manufacturing plant has been held in Hajigabul Industrial Estate.

Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani attended the ceremony.

The first stage will feature the production of 500 buses, while the second stage will see the production of 1000 buses and trucks.

300 new jobs will be created at the plant.
