Kazakhstan’s producers and manufacturers are set to build export capacities. More than 40 enterprises of Almaty region export their products abroad. The product variety includes mineral raw materials, leather, fur skins, wine and commodities. One of the largest exporters is Taldykorgan batteries manufacturing plant. The plant sends abroad 90% of its output.

The output increased tenfold in 10 years. Production capacity has doubled. We make 2 million of batteries per year. Almost all the products are exported abroad, mainly to Europe, neighboring countries and China. This year, we established cooperation with Africa.

At present, the region is divided into 5 economic zones. The largest export-oriented enterprises will be located here. Five new plants will open soon in an industrial site in Karatal district. In total, 10 new export-oriented plants will be launched this year.

MARZHAN MURAT, HEAD OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT:

The large-scale enterprise will enter the industrial zone Bereke. It will process small cattle products. There are 3.2 million heads of small cattle in Almaty region, and the new plant will be fully engaged in meat processing. 90% of its output will be exported to United Arab Emirates.
