Kazakhstan in 25 years of independence has become a full-fledged and accountable member of the global political process and proven success of its development strategy. This was stated by the participants of the diplomatic reception dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence in Moscow. The event at the Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Russia was visited by about 400 people, including the representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations, businessmen, Russian political and public figures.

Kazakhstan’s independence, the United States is very proud to be a good friend of Kazakhstan. My good friend George Krol is an ambassador. I’m pleased to participate in ceremonies in Astana. I’m happy to be here tonight to congratulate.

People living in Kazakhstan are calm, and they are proud to live in a safe country with a vision to prospective development.
Another reception was given at the Kazakh Embassy in Singapore. The meeting featured presentation of the paintings, clothes by Kazakh designers, as well as the creative works by domestic masters. According to the guests, Kazakhstan and Singapore have common goals - economic growth and human capital development. The Singapore’s State Minister Lam Pin Min stressed that Kazakhstan’s successful development was secured by President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s policy, which has focused on multiple vectors.

Our two countries have cooperated closely, bilaterally, and at international level. Our relations are built on the strong and longstanding friendship between president Nazarbayev.
Kazakhstan’s successes and achievements were noted at another reception in Berlin, organized by the Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Germany. Bundestag MPs, foreign diplomats and prominent public figures discussed Kazakhstan’s growing authority in the international arena.
KARIN SHTRENTS, BUNDESTAG MEMBER:
Kazakhstan is developing very rapidly. Kazakhstan will host the Expo next year – this is wonderful. In Germany, people are looking forward to this exhibition. We are planning to visit Astana with a very large delegation, which will include not only politicians, but also businessmen. I'm sure after this visit we will be able to start a lot of new joint projects.
GUNTHER KNABE, EXPERT ON CENTRAL ASIA:
Relations between Kazakhstan and Germany are developing dynamically. Also, we are united by common goal – to free the world from nuclear weapons. It is very important. Especially I want to stress the anti-nuclear initiatives of President Nazarbayev, who is highly regarded and supported in Germany.
