President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Minister of Foreign Affairs and Religion of the Republic of Costa Rica Manuel González Sanz.

Costa Rican Minister of Foreign Affairs Manuel Gonzalez Sanz said relationship between the two countries is built on mutual trust. Touching upon the opening of Costa Rica`s embassy in Azerbaijan, Manuel Gonzalez Sanz described this as his country`s strategic decision. He noted that Costa Rica considers Azerbaijan as a key partner in the region and is determined to establish its regional cooperation through Azerbaijan.
