Prime Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene on August 24 received Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs of the U.S. State Department Daniel J. Kritenbrink.

At the outset of the meeting, Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene expressed commitment to further expanding and strengthening the strategic partnership based on common democratic values ​​in the framework of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the U.S. He then underscored that the Government of Mongolia attaches utmost importance to expanding trade and economic cooperation with the U.S. within the framework of ‘Vision-2050’ and ‘New Revival Policy’, increasing investments and supporting people-to-people ties.

Assistant Secretary of State Daniel J. Kritenbrink expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for taking the time to meet him and emphasized that the U.S. administration attaches great importance to the development of strategic partnership between the two countries. He then expressed willingness to intensify cooperation in the direction of ensuring renewable energy, environmental protection, good governance, and sustainable economic development.

At the end of the meeting, Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene pledged to put concrete efforts in all aspects to strengthen the strategic partnership with the U.S. and expand cooperation and work closely to achieve substantial results.
