Tehran, IRNA – Iranian satellite "Khayyam" was launched into orbit by a Russian Soyuz rocket from Kazakhstan on Tuesday.
The Khayyam satellite was launched by Soyuz rocket from Kazakhstan Baikonur Cosmodrome.
The Khayyam satellite whose ownership is for Iranian Space Agency is proper for making smart different parts of the country.
The home-made satellite is also aimed at improving agricultural productivity, monitoring water resources, and management of natural disasters, among other things.
