Ambassador to UK meets Lord Mayor of London

London, Sept. 13 (BNA): Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, met Nicholas Lyons, the Lord Mayor of London.

Ian Lindsay, the Advisor to the Economic Development Board, attended the meeting.

The two sides discussed the outcomes of the recent official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United Kingdom, and the agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) signed on the sidelines of the visit.

They reviewed ways to strengthen the strategic partnership for cooperation and investment, exchanging expertise and skills in various economic and financial fields, and introducing the latest technologies in the financial sector.

The lord mayor praised the depth of the relations between the two kingdoms, and the partnership between their various financial institutions.
