Apple-picking in Full Swing in Pukchong County
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Pukchong County of the DPRK has a good crop of apples.
The county directed efforts to manuring and tending apple trees even in the unfavorable weather conditions this year to bring about good results.
Agricultural workers in every orchard pick a large amount of apples every day.
The county has worked out plans for all processes including picking, grading and carrying of fruit.
The Ryongjon Fruit Farm, where the Pukchong Enlarged Meeting of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea took place under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung in April Juche 50 (1961), is picking a large amount of apples every day.
Other fruit farms in the county are carrying apples to the fruit storehouse in time by mobilizing all delivery means. -0-
