Azerbaijani FM praises his meeting with Russian counterpart as useful

“We had an opportunity to have extensive deliberations, and discussed a wide range of issues. Our discussions focused on last year's results, and at the same time, the developments of the current year. We exchanged views on the diplomatic relations between our countries, as well as prospects for intergovernmental relations,” said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Baku.

Touching upon the friendly and neighborly relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, FM Bayramov praised Russian FM Sergey Lavrov’s visit to Azerbaijan as useful for the fact that it coincided with the first anniversary of the Declaration on allied interaction between the two countries.
