Bahrain-Canada economic ties highlighted

Ottawa, June 20 (BNA): Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Bahraini Ambassador to Canada, residing in Washington met with Michael David Chong, Canadian Shadow Cabinet Foreign Minister.
 
The meeting discussed enhancing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in economic sectors.
 
The Ambassador highlighted opportunities and economic attributes of Bahrain, including the Golden Residency Visa which is granted to investment businesses.
 
He explained that the visa gives access to benefits and streamlined services that reflect the business friendly factors in Bahrain. 
 
Michael David Chong, Canadian Shadow Cabinet Foreign Minister, praised Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and affirmed his country’s keenness to boost economic and social ties with Bahrain.
