Bahrain condemns Israeli police raiding Al-Aqsa Mosque

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's strong condemnation of the Israeli police forces' raiding of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and violating the rules of international law, affirming the position of the Kingdom of the need to provide protection for the mosque.

In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry stressed the need to respect the role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in protecting holy places, calling for providing protection from any practices that cause instability. It also affirmed the Kingdom's rejection of all provocative actions which threaten further escalation and violence.
