Business actors interested to partake in Nusantara development
Jakarta, October 12 (ANTARA) - Secretary Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, Green Transformation Director Agus Gunawan, and Financing Director Muhammad Naufal Aminuddin, representing Nusantara National Capital Authority (OIKN), visited Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria on September 23-October 1 for IKN investment promotion.
Through this working visit, the OIKN has identified more than 10 business actors to follow up on their keenness to participate in IKN, according to a press statement received here, Thursday.
The visit to the three Central European countries began with the secretary of OIKN along with six other delegates attending an invitation from Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Hungary, Dimas Wahab, on the agenda of the Investment Opportunities Seminar at IKN.
On this occasion, they explained the general overview of the IKN Preparation, Development, Transfer and Administration (4P), as well as the smart city concept and OIKN development progress in front of the Hungarian business actors.
Hungarian business people seemed very enthusiastic about welcoming investment opportunities in IKN in the question-and-answer session, according to the statement.
More than 43 companies in the fields of urban technology, energy, waste, geospatial technology, and water management were present during the seminar.
On the same day, a one-on-one meeting was also held between the OIKN and several Hungarian companies, namely UTB Envirotec, KUUBE, and Kesz Metaltech.
The agenda for presenting investment opportunities was also carried out in two other cities, namely Bratislava City in Slovakia which was attended by 15 companies in the fields of telecommunications technology (radar and defense), energy, smart cities, and food, and in Vienna City, Austria.
In Vienna, the OIKN delegation had the opportunity to visit the Aspern Seestadt development area, a future modern city development project that prioritizes sustainable technology.
The working visit in Vienna continued with a large wastewater treatment company in Austria, Aqua Consult, to discuss the company's participation in building IPAL facilities with energy-efficient technology for further development at IKN.
The delegation then held a meeting with a business player named EEE Austria, a company engaged in digital learning-based employee training that has collaborated with the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
President of Hungary for the 2012-2022 period, Janos Ader; Indonesian Ambassador to Hungary, Dimas Wahab; Indonesian Ambassador to Slovakia, Pribadi Sutiono; Indonesian Ambassador to Austria, Damos Dumoli Agusman; and Director General of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Daniel Lorincz, were also present during the agenda.
