20th ACG Conference kicks off in Tehran

Tehran, Dec 6, IRNA – The 20th General Meeting and Conference of Asia-Pacific Central Securities Depository Group (ACG) with the attendance of some 21 countries started work on Dec 6 in Tehran. 'The event aims at developing cooperation and interaction among member states', the managing director of Central Securities Depository of Iran Mohseni said. He referred to providing facilities, developing capital market and supplying the required infrastructures to internationalize investment markets and future planning and reviewing capital markets' problems as other objectives of the event. Some 21 countries from 34 ACG members took part in the event. On the sidelines of the event, Mohseni said Iran is supposed to become candidate for ACG executive committee membership. ACG Conference will be underway until Dec 9 in Tehran. 1378/IRNA
