$212million real estate project launched

By Naila Barakat Manama, Nov. 10 (BNA): Golden Gate Developers today launched a $212million real estate project. The project is expected to be completed in 36 months as the piling work has already kicked off after the soft launch a few weeks ago. Golden Gate project is 50-50 joint venture between Bahraini-based Kooheji Golden Gate company and Indian real estate companies Ajmera Realty and Mayfair Housing. The property will be situated in the heart of Bahrain Bay and will be developed over 140,000 square meters. Golden Gate aims to become the tallest residential towers in the country, consisting of two towers with 45 and 53 storeys and a 746 apartments. “Bahrain was a great choice for our first international venture as Golden Gate Developers, and Bahrain Bay was the best place to begin our journey," Nayan Shah, Chairman of Mayfair Housing, said, praising Bahrain Bay’s potential of becoming one of the best waterfront developments in the world. "We are impressed with the country’s business-friendly mentality and strong work ethic, which enabled us to create possibilities such as the Golden Gate project, which we hope to make a prestigious landmark.
