600 trucks exporting Iranian goods to Iraq each day from Parvizkahan border crossingb

Qasr-e Shirin, IRNA – As many as 600 cargo trucks are sending Iranian export commodities to neighboring Iraq each day from the Parvizkhan border crossing in western Iran, according to the director of Parvizkhan Customs. Qassem Motallebi said that Qasr-e Shirin is the economic heart of the country in trade with Iraq, some $552 million worth of commodities have been exported to Iraq from the two border terminals of this city since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21). He also said that as much as 600 cargo trucks cross into Iraq from Parvizkhan border crossing in Qasr-e Shirin each day. Based on official statistics, some 45% of Iran’s non-oil exports to Iraq are being carried out from Parvizkhan border crossing. Follow us on Twitter @IrnaEnglish
