65,000 Persons Visit Qatar Pavilion at Astana Expo 2017
Astana, June 28 (QNA) - The Qatar Pavilion at Astana Expo 2017 has announced that the number of visitors to the pavilion has reached about 65000 since the launch of the Astana International Exhibition on June 10.
Qatar pavilion at Expo Astana 2017 has received great interest from the visitors for its innovative design combining technology, modernity and the country's original heritage, as well as providing visitors with an opportunity to view outstanding projects in the field of energy conservation, and promotion of the use of green technology, which reflects the great development achieved by the State of Qatar in these areas.
The pavilion presents a range of successful projects and experiences in the field of future energy, alternative energy and energy diversification strategy according to Qatar Vision 2030 as well as a review of the most important challenges facing this sector.
Nasser Mohammad Al Mohannadi, head of the Qatar Pavilion Committee at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce , said that the 457 square meter suite includes a number of key sections including the Future Technology section showcasing Qatar's approach to promoting the use of green technology to reduce carbon emissions.
Expo 2017 is an International Exposition currently taking place from June 10 and September 10, 2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The expo's theme is "Future Energy", aims to create a global debate between countries, nongovernmental organizations, companies and the general public on the crucial question: "how do we ensure safe and sustainable access to energy for all while reducing CO2 emissions"
Around 18 international organizations and more than 100 countries are taking part in the Astana Expo 2017, attracting 5 million visitors.(QNA)
